Blessed to have dear friend and professional photographer, Anne B. with me, so there's hope.

TUESDAY TRUTH....
Tuesday truth through a kitchen window.....
In the beginning, God created the heavens and the earth. (Genesis 1:1)
Last week our family witnessed the dry land Earth in new places and the gathered waters he called Seas. (Genesis 1:10)
This morning as I sat by the kitchen window, I could gaze on the vegetation and plants yielding seed.....within as stone's throw.
A place of grace!
God allowed me to "Be Still"----nothing open but my eyes to see what He had for me! "Less of me and MORE of Thee!"
AMEN!!!

GOD'S GLORY!
The glory of our God is our good......
especially when together with family both earthly and spiritually!
Monday prayers begin each week with my "M" family and friends.
For God's glory and their good!
Whatever we do, apart or together, may we do all to the glory of God!
(1 Corinthians 10:31)

EMBRACE WAITING!
Finishing up Mark Vroegop's, Waiting Isn'a a Waste, I think I need to repeat my read.....think---go to "time-out" and practice what my note- taking has advised.
"The LORD our God is one LORD." (Deuteronomy 6:4)
FOCUS on HIM with all your heart, soul, mind and strength! (Mark 12:30)

JIGSAW PUZZLE LIFE!
We've all heard various metaphors of life being like a jigsaw puzzle----and for some it's as if many of the pieces are missing. Aging has brought about some fading parts of memory and put in new pieces of misunderstanding. But God, our Master "builder", has a place and purpose for each piece of our life!
(Alert.....in the end she needed 1 more piece. Eventually her dad found it deep in the carpet! Sounds a bit like life---sometimes what is lost desperately needs to be found!)
Missing pieces maybe why I don't even attempt jigsaw puzzles! Unlike daughter M and friend JPH, who look at 1000 pieces and see challenge. i can't look beyond the straight-edged pieces!
(Alert.....in the end she needed 1 more piece. Eventually her dad found it deep in the carpet! Sounds a bit like life---sometimes what is lost desperately needs to be found!)
I, on the other hand, look at 48 extra large pieces and seek help from my youngest grandson JLK.
I am grateful that in God's design there are no missing pieces!
Everyone who has Jesus in his/her life is complete!

SUNSETS EXTRAORDINAIRE!
Whatever may pass and whatever lies before me
*Grandson Jack alerted her, "Look Mommy the sky is turning pink & orange!"
Let me be singing when the evening comes
May I continue to worship His holy name.
Thank you Lord for neighbors who share sunsets on our ridge in the mountains, a son who shares a sunset in Honolulu, Hawaii and our daughter who shares sunsets at a beach in Florida..
All are examples of God's amazing creation.
Pink and orange sky sunsets in continental US & a serene sunset in Hawaii!
May we all continue to experience the awe of sunsets with praise in our hearts.
I will bless the LORD at all times:His praise will continually be in my mouth. (Psalm 34:1)
*Grandson Jack alerted her, "Look Mommy the sky is turning pink & orange!"
When she got to the steps to take a pic, a youngster was standing there exclaiming, "Look what Jesus Made!" Her affirming reply, "Indeed He did!!" had the little fella smiling from ear to ear!

BE STILL.....
How does one come to "know" the LORD?
To truly know the Lord.....not just know about Him?
Seek Him we often say! Others say steer clear of chaos.
Yet, even in outward chaos one can find inward calm if he/she is seeking the LORD in stillness of heart.
Be Still and Know......How else does one truly come to know the LORD⁉️

A SPRINGTIME THANKFUL THURSDAY
This week let's open our eyes to all that God has done as well as being
a watchman on the walls of your location..... wherever God has placed you.
On my FEC monthly prayer sheet, Isaiah 62:6-7 precedes all the petitions. "....Give God no rest until He establishes and 'til He makes (First Evan or wherever it's people minister) a praise in the earth."
In A Long Obedience in the Same Direction, Eugene Peterson connects the word watchman with wait and hope. (p. 136)
It's a role to embrace not a complaint.
Today I choose to look for God's hand in every situation and rejoice.
A morning in the hillside at daughter Molly's showed God's creation at every turn.......from baby chicks to rhododendron filled with butterflies!
Let everything that hath breath praise the LORD. (Psalm 150:6)
