EMPTINESS:QUESTIONS AND ANSWERS!
Feeling spiritually empty??
What's your energy source?
What's the best long-term protocol?
How does one realize his/her emptiness? I sense mine at my core.
How does one.........replenish one's heart?
Fuel up?
Power-up?
The only answer........In Him! In Christ alone.
He is the one we we proclaim...so that we may present everyone "full" (fully mature in Christ) How grateful I am for the energy Christ "so powerfully works in me." (Colossians 1:28-29)
Think long-term.
HS pump ---a believer's premier gas/energy station.
Holy Spirit---never runs out. Cost is free to all believers.
EMPTY YOURSELF ---DON'T CLUTCH YOUR STUFF! (Malachi 3:10)
Fill up and overflow to others!

FLIP-FLOP MENTALITY
Sister-in-law Charlotte is a flip flop fiend! Her closets back me up on this! I probably would be as well, if I had "pretty toes" like she has!
My only flipflop leanings are in my "distractible mind." It is difficult for me to focus and it seems to be getting worse with each new year.
How does one undo forgetfulness as they age? Recall failure flusters without allowing forgetfulness to push out peace?
Minds are steadfast, keeping peace of thoughts when they trust in YAH the LORD......Isaiah 26:3
Romans 12:2 reminds us (me) to be transformed by the renewing of our minds.
Colossians 3:2 says, "Set your mind on things above, not on earthly things."
As Paul says in Philippians 2:1-5, be mindful and live with an awareness of the present. On a straight path. (Proverbs 3:5-6)
Steadfast. Transformed. Renewed. Mindset. Mindful.
Have the mind of Christ.
Put the "Flip-Flop" mind back in the closet where it belongs!

FALL FAVES!
Some things speak autumn at our house.
The sight of Psalm 143:8 on my computer screen.
Sight of ginkgos on Grandview. (Genesis 2:9)
Taste of pumpkin roll and Werther's Original Harvest Caramels.
Sound of rattling from the glass pumpkin jar lid....an alert that someone is helping self to some candy corn.
I almost heard him before I even saw him.
How grateful I am the Lord God created seasons for us to savor with all our senses.

SENSORY GARDEN!!
Mommy Molly created a sensory garden for her "special" Jack, who entered the world via a seizure. But God.... in His love and mercy brought him to our family. (Ephesians 2:4)
Oh the lessons family have learned through this little man---some not so easy.....but all profitable!
Recently she created a "sensory garden" just for Jack from supplies donated by Home Depot!
All five senses are touched in this little guy's sensory haven!
Just click link below to see, hear and experience a bit of his sensory exploration thanks to Home Depot!
It will touch your heart!
I'm sure they would appreciate your feed back!💖

GOD'S WORD!
Be on the lookout!
Keep your eyes open.
God's Word can show up where you might least expect it.
A T-shirt in St. Francis surgery waiting room.
(Isaiah 40:8)
God's Word stands out.........inside and outside!
Find it and meditate on it as a way to start your week.

SHARING IS CARING!
Sharing is caring when your motive is right.
It's a kindness action! (Ephesians 4:32)
Mommy Molly was grateful her son was learning these 3 words.
Motivation of the heart is key in helping youngsters understand true sharing puts others first!

SOS!
Almost two weeks ago Israel was attacked by a militant group led by Hamas in a coordinated surprise offensive. A barrage of rockets.
No warnings.
In Ukraine, warnings seem constant. Air raid sirens regardless time of day. Ukrainian friends certainly understand those SOS signals to take cover. They "hear" warnings. Others see warnings of flashing lights or on road signs. Even signs erected by the ocean can warn of what's coming.

The full form of SOS is Save Our Souls; aka Save Our Ship.
A Morse code distress signal to indicate danger.
These days in our culture there seems danger at every turn.
Some surprising. Some expected. All can add fear!
I turn to God's WORD for my response---again and again.
It's where I find the SOS I need.
Strength Of Savior (Isaiah 41:10)
Shelter Of Savior (Psalm 91:1-2)
I appreciate the Sense Of Security God gives when I renew my mind with His Word! (Psalm 23:4)

ETHNODOXOLOGY WOW!
Word Of Week is a Word of Worship. "Ethnodoxology."
Ethno = people Doxology = praise
Praises
Of
People
Praise of God's people adds a "pop" of cultural relevance, biblically sound worship within the body of Christ.
Ethnodoxology encourages believers to worship in their native language and often times with their heart language of folded or raised hands as they lift their voices in songs of praise.

GOD PROVIDES..........
God provides in many ways. A perfect gift for a specific need.
He is Jehovah-Jireh---the Lord our provider
the souls that trust in Him indeed.
Georg Neumark, 15 C German hymnist
(source, Julie M., emphasis mine)
Note space of a heart --in need
To a gift indeed--Jehovah-Jireh is in that space.

ACRONYMS ABOUND!
Acronyms abound----on jars of jam, no less.T.O.E. Jam made me laugh!!
Eventually, I realized the acronyms let a customer know contents of the jams.

I liked my THOTS better.
