In my opinion, folks with top-notch writing ability can say the most with the fewest words.
Pithy with a punch. For me, nothing jogs my memory better than a pithy quote......whether it's written in my Bible maginalia, my journal or seen on a creative craft.
Quotabili-TEA---good quotes, great pithy quotes, quotes worth sharing. From spiritual or intellectual to relational and funny.
Often, as the saying goes, a picture is worth a 1,000 words.

So many quotes so little time and space----My Bibles are filled with quotes.....as is the internet. But.....these are the ones that ring true with me and my cuppa quotabili-TEA to share with others.

Quotabili-TEA : a re-brew

Having been dunked last night in the ALS "ice bucket challenge," my brain is a little fuzzy....or frozen. 

Thus, not much wisdom is easily recalled.

But God....reminded me of a few notes in my marginalia that seem perfect for sharing on such a day.......
......Words of wisdom. Proverbs 2:6 says that the "Lord gives skillful and godly wisdom".....and I so appreciate those who take His wisdom and put it into succinct phrases or pithy grabbers, as I call them, that enable easier recollection for me.
Quotes are from famous folks, often via not so famous folks, and other quotes are out of the mouths of friends and family that have "stuck in my mind" for whatever reason.

"Quotabili-TEA"

Ruth's gleaning was a harvesting---all a part of her plan to obtain food. In Bible Study one often looks for nourishment from God's word in much the same way. Often the truth that sticks is a quip or a pithy grabber that nourishes my memory.

Indulge me in a few snippets of truth taken from my Bible marginalia. Three Bibles in all; NASB, (birthday gift from hubby, 1977) NIV, (Christmas gift from Diane A, 1995) & NKJV. ("Cove" gift from Lo, 11-4-04) 

Just my succinct notes that come from others, often not identified, that carry a life message gleaned* from Scripture, & given in user friendly terms, so I clearly "get" the idea! 

*Gleaning or extracting information from various sources collected & recorded gradually and bit by bit since 1977 have given me lots of "food for thought."

Pithy with a punch, as I like to say. Messages of wisdom and knowledge with practical applications.
