SPRINGTIME IS HERE!

LENTEN ROSES. Bowing their heads at 4:24 CST to welcome spring!
Maybe we should all bow our heads in worship for the Creator.
He changes time and seasons. (Daniel 2:21, ESV)
There is a time for everything, and a season for every activity under heavens: (Ecclesiastes 3:1, NIV)
Springtime is one of my favorite.

Autumn TEA-reats

And he changeth the times and the seasons: (Daniel 2:21, KJV)

....and aren't I glad for seasonal changes. Cold and heat. Seedtime and harvest.
Ah-h-h.....harvest means autumn and all its colors. One of the crowning glories of God's creation.
These fall days I am thankful for:
  • Cool temps. Long sleeves coming out of storage.
  • Tea with hints of cinnamon.
  • Brilliant color for "leaf peepers."
  • Fresh greens. Crisp apples. YUM!
  • Pumpkins on doorsteps.
  • Fall sports. Football on TV. Soccer games for grands.
  • Warm cuppas.

This morning I was grateful for holding my daughter's warm cuppa, needing a sweatshirt for my grandson's soccer game and the distraction from losing once again,.....
.....as a dragonfly took up residence on my purse strap. Owen loved it. Score forgotten.*

*Pop-Pop, a competitive sort, probably didn't forget.

SABBATH SNAPSHOTS: Fix-up, Clean-up in the neighborhood

4/8/13 When the rain finally subsided, many neighbors came out anxious to begin Spring cleaning.....in both the house and the yard.
He changes times and seasons; (Daniel 2:21) and in Memphis on our street, we are ALL so grateful for that truth.
All the tools needed, even safety glasses,  for  Owen to help Pop-Pop.
Not sure what this neighbor has in mind but I think I'd like to follow suit...if it results in less stuff.
Snack in one hand and rake in the other,  Miss A is ready to help Daddy. Love the boots!
