Give it up AI---"Grandboy" is a colloquial term, primarily used in the Southern US, & that's where we reside. The male grands in our family number 7 and to us they are our "grand boys".

Our 2 grandgirls are on Long Island. All the grandchildren are dear to our heart but the girls are not with us this week!. They are truly blessing my heart by reading together!

No matter what version is used in Scripture, it's a truth celebrated at our house!  

CAMPGROUND COUSINS!

Memories from Deep Creek campground week with 4 cousins... my paraphrase from Ecclesiastes...

There is a time for everything,

    and a season for every activity under the heavens: including telling "Star in the Middle" story 

2     a time to be born

and a time to die, (& bury the cicada)

    a time to plant (with all the needed accoutrements)

and a time to uproot,
3  ....... a time to heal, 

(Uncle Josh showed PopPop exercises, Jack held the equipment & offered to take his temperature while Goldie supervised.) 

    a time to tear down and a time to build,
4     a time to weep and a time to laugh,

    a time to mourn (because 5 of our cousins could not join us),and a time to dance, (even singing and dancing in the rain with Shug)

5     a time to scatter stones

 and a time to gather them,

a time to embrace

and a time to refrain from embracing,

6     a time to search

and a time to give up,

    a time to keep

and a time to throw away,

7     a time to tear and a time to mend,
    a time to be silent

 and a time to speak,

8     a time to love...............

   ............. and a time for peace.

He has made everything beautiful in its time.

He has set eternity in the human heart;.........I know there is nothing better for people that to be happy.....

FIRST DAY OF FIRSTS

FIRSTS for the FIRST

First picture I took in 2021 because hubby saw reflection as sun rays came through.

Hubby who read aloud our first devotional from New Morning Mercies had me look up Psalm 115. The first verse had "My One Word" 2021 choice! STEADFAST. I see that as my 1st affirmation from God.

 Not to us,  O Lord, but to your name give glory, for the sake of your steadfast love and faithfulness! (Psalm 115:1, emphasis mine) 

First text w/ picture I received. Thx MA family! She's saying "cheese" as picture was taken.

First laughter to grace my ears. All because someone said, "cut the cheese."

Thanks to all who made my "first day of  firsts" so special in 2021.
