JOURNEYING ON!
God is with us. His Presence within envelops us and gives us rest.
"I need Thee, O I need Thee! Every hour, I need Thee, Bless me now my Savior,"
Today, I once again feel the impotence of my strength and self-serving planning. v.3 I need Thee ev-‘ry hour in joy or pain; Come quickly and abide or life is vain
Fellowship with God is needed.....not the pathetic pretentiousness of my pitiful pride. Why the hollow emptiness, compounded by fear? My soul is impoverished without Him! I needed His grip of grace.
"I need Thee, O I need Thee." Enough said.Monday, October 26, 2015
"ON HOLD"
FRUSTRATION!!
Please hold!!......Please continue to hold!!!
The phone feels glued to my ear. My shoulder aches from holding it up.
Next option---speaker phone. The "hold" continues! Phone is carried from room to room!
"Your call is very important to us." Yeah---right!!
The worst offenders are Comcast, Insurance and Government Agencies!

3 hrs on this one---just had pic taken at 2 hr point. Multiple calls occurred because so many came in while on hold. With 3 hours "holding", one can expect that.
How grateful I am that the Lord NEVER puts me on hold!
I can "call unto Him and He will answer me." (anytime night or day)

"His Way" for Meditation
6/11/12 The Red Sea Rules---a great little read with BIG
truths. Today, Jamie S. recommended it to me during a summer refreshment book
study. I bought it on the way home. I’ve already read most of it, but will read it again and
again I’m sure. As our leader, Margie Andrews commented, “Everytime I find a
great book, I want everyone to read it.” I so understand what she is saying.
Nestled in this book are also some gems of scripture that are
worthy of meditation. Verses that remind one that God’s way is the only way
through all the difficulties that life can seemingly throw our way. His way
might be refuge or His way might be deliverance.
When you pray, keep alert and be thankful. Be sure to pray
that God will make a way. (Colossians 4:2-3)
Call on me in the day of trouble; I will deliver you, and
you shall glorify me. (Psalm 50:15)
