HEART RESTORATION!

3 Rs of Heart Restoration.
Last night my heart monitor quit.
I never saw the signals. Beeps and Blinks.
I never felt the alerts.
Hubby reread instructions......which I couldn't understand.
Restoration was needed. Guidelines were required for recharging.

I called the "24/7 hotline". The answering machine suggested going to emergency room or calling back M-F between 8 and 5 pm EST.
Whatever happened to truth in advertising!?

How grateful I am for the Lord's restoration of my heart. He is truly available 24/7! Revival comes through prayer! True Heart revival.

Create in me a clean heart, O God,
And renew a steadfast spirit within me.
1Do not cast me away from Your presence,
And do not take Your Holy Spirit from me.

12 Restore to me the joy of Your salvation,
And uphold me by Your generous Spirit. (Psalm 51:10-12)

His word has all the instructions clearly written, understandable & ever available via the Holy Spirit......for relatable, renewing, reviving of one's heart.

OVERFLOW OF THE HEART!

HEART- FULNESS is necessary for overflow.
What about a weary heart? Is your heart filled to capacity with fatigue?
Be careful! Our words give proof of what is filling our heart. Our heart controls our  tongue.
Conviction! My fatigue infested heart spews complaints of my maladies way too often lately!
Today's devotional from Experiencing God 6/13 begins with "But what comes out of the mouth comes from the heart"....(Matthew 15:18)
In my first read through I marked 10 hearts. Heart focus! You think!

May I look to you Lord. You are the heart and heartbeat of the gospel.
Use me, O Lord,  even in my weariness, to speak your words to "encourage and edify others" today! (Experiencing God, p.165)

HEART OF PRAYER!

3 Ps of Prayer
Praise. Pardon. Petition.
Isn't prayer at the heart of of a Christian's life?

The high and lofty one who lives in eternity, the Holy One, says this: 'I live in the high and holy place with those whose spirits are contrite and humble. I restore the crushed spirit of the humble and revive the courage of those with repentant hearts. (Isaiah 57:15, NLT, emphasis mine)

Intimate, personal communication with God through prayer deepens and strengthens one's relationship with Him. You can pray out loud or in your thoughts, where ever you are alone or in fellowship with a trusted group of fellow believers.
God hears the prayers of those who put their trust in Him.

In essence, the heart of prayer is to communicate with God!

Message from the Heart

7/15/11 The report spread out on my bed is gibberish to me but the scrawled info at the bottom of the page indicates no cause for concern with my heart. Meds seem to be working. (Except I think they make me feel loopy.) But things are not always as they seem, especially in matters of the heart. Just a few months ago I looked the same on the outside but on the inside my heart/brain connections (via the carotid) were a little off kilter.
We can't always tell one's inward condition by outward appearance. But God....."God sees not as man sees, for man looks at the outward appearance, but the LORD looks at the heart.” (1 Samuel 16:7)
Tomorrow I hope the heart of the Lord will show through me as I venture, somewhat fearfully, out of my comfort zone. I hope His love and mercy will be read loud and clear as I stumble in an unfamiliar realm with little ability and strength. I'm counting on Him.
For the eyes of the LORD run to and fro throughout the whole earth, to shew himself strong in the behalf of them whose heart is loyal to Him. (2 Chronicles 16:9)
