ONE STEP AT A TIME!

Step by step! May the Spirit of the Lord rest upon us--a Spirit of wisdom and understanding, a Spirit of counsel and strength, a Spirit of knowledge and the fear of the Lord. (Isaiah11:2) As Jesus relied on the Holy Spirit for direction, (Mark 1:12) may we as well during this time of transition.

In Henry Blackaby's Words, "Allow God to lead you step by step to produce lasting spiritual growth in you." (Experiencing God, 236)
If we walk with Him closely today, we will be in the center of His will tomorrow.
Henry Blackaby
May VICTORY come one step at a time. Victory in Jesus!

N.A.P.

I am always up for a nap....or down for....the quick snatch of sleep time.
But this morningI found a better N.A.P.! It was on my laptop screen and I cannot remember the source. Imagine that!!
How blessed it is to be able to give others a Non Anxious Presence in the middle of the storms of their life, your life or both.
Today, may all "busy, hurrying and scurrying" folks heed and N.A.P. knowing God is with; Our Sovereign Lord is in control.

SUSTAINING GRACE FOR ALL OUR YEARS!

Too often my weariness and complaining spirit of aging maladies becomes an audacity or impudence of sorts to those who age well. Cast your cares on God and He'll sustain you.(Psalm 55:22)
Some folks make 95 look great!
Bobbie Scholik does just that! Check out that smile & she had not even been out of the hospital for 24 hours! Of course, it helps to have son, Chris and daughter-in-law, Jamie, who are great caregivers. I was a drop -in visitor and I was the one who left with the biggest blessing!

I was reminded of the comfort God's word brings as I pushed the down button on the elevator.
He gives strength to the weary and increases the power of the weak. (Isaiah 40:29)

More specifically....."Even to your old age and gray hairs.....I am He who will sustain you. " (Isaiah 46:4)
O Lord, may I have "ears to hear" of your sustaining grace as I age.
